Dr. Darcy Dane is committed to helping you achieve a better state of health. Starting with conception, our bodies are under constant environmental attack. When the body is not fighting this attack, symptoms appear. The symptoms associated with chronic issues usually begin gradually. For most people, it is not until these symptoms begin to interfere with their daily lives that they make time to figure out what the problem is.
Common adult issues include: blood sugar disorders, thyroid disorders, andropause, menopause, hyperlipidemia, chronic fatigue, insomnia, fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety, inability to lose weight, and pain.
Common infant issues include: latching difficulties, colic, earaches, and digestive issues.
Dr. Dane utilizes a Functional Healthcare Model to assess your health, come up with an accurate diagnosis, and provide you with effective treatments. She believes key to providing effective healthcare and treatment starts with obtaining an accurate diagnosis.
In order to begin the process of discerning an accurate diagnosis, each patient is asked to fill out a number of subjective assessments including a comprehensive health history, a metabolic questionnaire, and a current health questionnaire. Prior to your first meeting with Dr. Dane, this subjective information will be reviewed. Your initial office visit will run 1 to 2 hours. A thorough physical examination will be performed and appropriate clinical labs and other diagnostic tests will be discussed and recommended. Once Dr. Dane has all your subjective assessments, clinical lab values, and physical exam data, she will then spend time reviewing your case in order to come up with an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plan for you. When you come back to the office, you will be scheduled for a Report of Findings, which is time specifically designated to educate you concerning your results, diagnosis, and treatment options.

A note from Dr. Dane:
Throughout the years, the major complaint I hear concerning healthcare is regarding the lack of time doctors spend with their patients. Patients are shuffled in and shuffled out offices, spend little time with the actual doctor, and are left with unanswered questions.
Attention to detail is my passion as a doctor. At my office, you get my time and attention. The fact is, if a doctor will take the time to LISTEN to a patient, the patient will usually self-diagnose. Of course, we run clinical tests to confirm our theories, but listening is paramount to accurate diagnosing.
At our office, not only will you have a lot of personal interaction with me, but you can be sure that I will spend a lot of time working on your case behind the scenes: reviewing labs, building protocols, studying medical texts, and/or speaking with your other healthcare providers.
Time is a commodity. If you want time, you will get it here!
