Dr. Janan Sayyed is a licensed and Board Certified Chiropractor. Dr. Janan Sayyed is trained in holistic medicine, acupuncture and natural wellness. Dr. Janan Sayyed is also  trained as a naturopathic doctor,( DC and ND from University of Bridgeport- 8 year program).

Dr. Janan Sayyed has been freeing people from pain in the clinic in New York, NY. As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. Sayyed is committed to promoting optimal health and well being of  patients.

Dr. Sayyed uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Sayyed is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.

Dr Janan Sayyed graduated with a double bachelors degree with honors with a BA in Psychology and a BSc. in Biological Sciences from Lehman College in 1993 and 1994. In 1995, Dr. Sayyed received her certification in phlebotomy and EKG from Mandl College in  New York, NY. In 1995-6, Dr. Sayyed went to pursue her Masters in Clinical and Cognitive psychology at NYU. Dr. Sayyed wanted to learn more about Integrative Medicine, Naturopathic Medicine, and Chiropractic. So, Dr.Sayyed worked in Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx in the ER and translator in Arabic and Spanish. Dr. Sayyed also had a second job working as an advertiser/marketer. Dr. Janan Sayyed then decided to enroll in Naturopathic Medicine because her mom is an inspiration to her and always believed in holistic and prevention medicine. My momma always used to say" food is your medicine and happiness is your journey in life".

Dr. Sayyed enrolled in a dual doctrate program in 1998 in Naturopathic Medicine and Chiropractic at the University of Bridgeport. While she was doing this, Dr. Janan Sayyed enrolled in the Masters degree in Human Nutrition. Dr. Sayyed graduated with Summa Cum Laude in 2001. Dr. Sayyed graduated with Summa Cum Laude in Naturopathic Medicine in 2002. In 2006, Dr. Sayyed graduated from the UB Chiropractic Program. In 2005, Dr. Sayyed completed her Acupuncture Detox Specialists certification from Lincoln Recovery Program in the Bronx, NY. Dr. Sayyed also took classes at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine for acupuncture. Dr. Sayyed takes post graduate seminars and attends conferences in wellness and nutrition. In 2005-2008, Dr. Sayyed had over 500 hours of Applied Kinesiogy training and is a certified Applied Kinesiologist (CAK) in NY & CT.

Dr. Janan Sayyed graduated with dual doctrate degrees in Chiropractic and Natuopathic Medicine from the University of Bridgeport. Dr. Sayyed also has training in herbs, acupuncture,taking and reading x-rays, and nutrition. Dr. Sayyed has training in the NADA Protocol from Dr. Michael Smith MD at the Lincoln Recovery Center and contributes articles to different health magazines. Dr. Janan Sayyed worked alongside the late Dr. Robert Atkins MD, Dr. Warren Hammer DC, Dr. Dan Murphy DC, Dr. John Diamond MD, Dr. Keri Bone,Dr. Peter Adamo ND, Dr. David Katz MD,MPH from Yale Medical Center & Griffin Integrative Medicine, and Dr. Gerber MD an Emergency Doc from Waterbury Hospital.. These are the top doctors and I had the privledge of working and sharing my experience with other collagues. Dr. Janan Sayyed has been featured on Natural medicine which is a cable channel that spans from NY to the New England region, Channel 5 Fox news and Channel 41-Spanish Channel. Dr. Janan Sayyed is an educator, researcher, and author. Dr.Sayyed also volunteers her time with the King Hussain Orpanage Foundation in Jordan, City Harvest, Habitat building, and Save the Children in Westport, CT. Dr. Sayyed is an educator, researcher, and author who have contributed her articles in journals, health newspapers, and health magazines.
